Thanks! But not mine lol. My DeLorean is unadulterated.
i prefer deloreans that way.
although a wood gasafied delorian would be sort of like the mr fusion

To be fair, my DeLorean is highly modified, just not in any obvious way.

For instance, the DeLorean originally had overheating problems due to an underpowered electrical circuit for the cooling fans. Anyone actually driving their DeLorean, particularly in a hot climate, will have a rewired circuit, just as my car has. So my car is original-looking but would fail a Concours d’Elegance badly lol.

I'm always asked how I find my car at a DeLorean convention since they're "all the same" but there's enough minor variations for me to positively identify my baby. I'm sure it will be similar when Cybertrucks congregate, hahahaha

https://www.newsweek.com/nuclear-fusion-energy-milestone-ignition-confirmed-california-1733238
It happened last August in a CA lab but disclosed to public now.

Big step for the future of electricity generation. Next step figure out how to harness it.

"Ignition during a fusion reaction essentially means that the reaction itself produced enough energy to be self-sustaining."
"Ignition occurs when the heating from absorption of α particles [two protons and two neutrons tightly bound together] created in the fusion process overcomes the loss mechanisms in the system for a duration of time,"
This is not the only time fusion was established. Earlier this year scientists in England had a few minutes of energy. The problem so far is the intense heat generated 7 times hotter than the sun! Once they can contain the heat energy economically you will see this form appear more common.

Tesla is already using fusion, they call it "solar power"
Unless earth based fusion is much less expensive than collecting the solar variety, it’s never going to be interesting.

Right now, solar plus storage has most of this problem licked. If nuclear fusion does become affordable before solar takes over the world, I suspect we’ll still use solar and use fusion plants for base rate generation and to carry night time loads.

Nuclear fusion is also very important because we’ll need power on Mars (or any non-earthly location we occupy) and a very compact source of power. Solar will work on Mars long term, but if they could send a nuclear reactor on a single starship, it might replace dozens of of ships with solar panels and batteries.

Of course, they have some fairly safe concepts for nuclear fission which would work well right now also.

Update me when politics and BS lobbying stops delaying progress. I hate all political Bs that prevents the progress of the human race. The hopes for fusion have been made sour by political BS. And that's a fact. We could be soo much further along than where we are. If only we didn't have idiots where they shouldn't be. Sorry if that offended some...not really.

Like Hydrogen for passenger vehicles against BEV, fusion has been used as a stalling tactic against renewables for almost as long. On the surface it looks like a solution for utopia but the devil is in the details. Our fusion reactor in the sky is a much more equitable resource.

Your confission is understandable.

The problem with nuclear fusion isn’t legislative, they still have likely a decade of science and engineering to unravel first. Maybe when they solve the engineering and science challenges they will have legal issues too, but by that time it might just be a matter of shipping a few pounds of key elements to Mars and lighting it up there.

As I mentioned above, by the time fusion is completely sorted, solar is likely so ubiquitous we won’t need fusion.

You're forgetting about the byproduct of Fusion. Helium. There is a lot of helium on earth right now, but it's a finite amount. Once we let it all go we have no way of making more, until we solve fusion. Think of your great great grand kids birthday parties! :) <end sarcasm>
