I know there is an air compressor for the suspension, any chance there is options for adjusting tire pressure on the fly?

I just bought a Ryobi one plus tire inflator, works like a charm.

I'm assuming you are asking about if the CT will have CTIS? (Central Tyre Infaltion System)

Not as far as we can tell, however a Mercedes Unimog CTIS engineer was hired by Tesla a while back, so maybe something like that will come out in the future?

The onboard air compressor is for use with the air suspension only. You need to plug in your own air compressor into the 120V or have a battery powered version to air up your tyres for now.

Yep. That is what I was hoping for. Would be very cool to air down on the trail "on the fly."

You can get stem valve adapters that you can switch to air down to a pre-set pressure.

Inflating is much more complicated and expensive though because you have to somehow route pressurised air through suspension parts and a rotating wheel, and maintain that pressure all the way through to the tyre without a leak seeing that you can't have a valve inbetween, that would stop you from airing down.

The explanation was in the Leno YT video. Lot of good info there as it seems you have not seen it.

In this very special episode of Jay Leno's Garage, Jay is once again joined by Tesla's Head of Design, Franz von Holzhausen who along with Tesla's Vice President
of Vehicle Engineering, Lars Moravy, bring with them this very special 2024 Tesla Cybertruck Foundation Series, aka, the CYBERBEAST! Jay, Franz, and Lars go over the finer details of the Cybertruck and also reveal some of the Cybertruck's easter eggs...

Thanks. I watched that video about 30 minutes after I created this post. I get it ...I was only hoping for it since the truck does cost $122,000, I didn't think it was too unreasonable to hope. ;-)

But you wouldn't want to wait for a VERY very long time to pump up your tires ... and if off-roading with lowered PSI for tracking ... then times 4!

Dual CT is just below $80K

Buy a $200 high pressure/speed inflator that is for that made for that purpose (vs suspension).

must purchase 500 tire inflator separately. Leno and them talk about why in the video
There is no air connection between the tire pressures and the suspension system for “on the fly” adjustments. That will have be done by a super expensive aftermarket product.
The product that Tesla is selling for ~$600 is an external one you have to use once stopped and outside of the vehicle to connect each tire.
