I plan on leaving my truck at the airport for 10-12 days in Cincinnati the weather has been a little cold and I’ve noticed my battery drop almost 10 miles overnight

What can I do to prevent losing 100 miles during my vacation it will I not lose that much

My last trip to the airport I lost 1.5 miles of charge per hour parked. I had maintain cabin temp turned off, but sentry mode turned on.

Yeah I think the best you can do is toggle your sentry mode off, that is the largest power drain typically.

In Atlanta, we have a place, Peachy Parking that has about 50 standard wall plugs for EV to charge from, it's even indoors and decently priced. So I always come back with more charge than I left with.

Lots of EV charging options at CVG. Some in the parking garages to the off-site parking.

ValetAir Valet Parking
CVG Airport ValuPark

But even if you lose 10 miles overnight (turn off Sentry mode when parking at airport) that's maybe 150 miles for your trip. There's a Supercharger slightly south of the airport on Houston Road in Florence. And another one on the other side of I-75 on Madison Pike. And a number north of the river.
If you are headed back to Lexington, then the Houston Road one is on your way.
You probably can even make it down to Bucees.

Just make sure that you turn off Sentry Mode and Cabin Overheat.

I leave my CT at an airport 4-5 days at at time - sometimes 2 weeks at a time. Sentry mode off and cabin protection off when I’m in a covered garage. The truck sleeps almost right away and sleeps continuously for like 5 days.

I loose less than 1% / 24hr. There are 120v outlets in the garage and when I’m lucky enough to park near one I plug in and set the charge to 60% at 10a (more 11-16 seems to bring the circuit voltage down to like 110 or worse- I think the truck figures out degraded circuit performance and self throttles to 11 or less if it fluctuates while I’m away)

IMHO I really think airports should have waaaay more 120v outlets for EV than L2. It makes no sense at all to plug in on day 1 at a L2 station - be done charging in a few hours and sit there for days - I’ve seen the same car there for 10 days NOT charging and NO centry mode. Rude!!
