Anyone in Phoenix been off-roading with their Cybertruck yet?

I just got back from running Four Peaks road (yes super easy) and followed another Cybertruck down the Beeline back to Phoenix but mine was dusty and his was super clean.

Anyone?

There was a small outing a few weeks back near the Supers. I don't think a lot of early CT buyers were necessarily off road enthusiasts. That should change when non-FS becomes more available.

Did you do Four Peaks up-and-over? (87 to Punkin Center?) or just to shoulder and back?

Be curious how Bulldog OHV would be in a CT. It's short but mighty. Was very rough due to washouts last time I was there.

Shoulder and back. Still working on tuning “range”.

Agree on owner profile you suggest here.

I guess I will find some Jeeps.

Last week went up and over and back the way I came. Super fun. Lots of folks out there and lots of folks were taking pictures and stopping me to ask questions.

Seems like Fish Creek Hill is going to be open end of September which will make for a fun loop.

Sounds like a good time.

How'd your battery usage fare? Probably got a fair bit back on regen?
I haven't been up in that area since the fires. Any issues with the road due to monsoon runoff?

I was able to do the 88 from Roosevelt to AJ a few months before the closure. It's a classic journey.

I am averaging about 470w/mile. I live about 45 miles from Rolls OHV and that is a climb. I charged to 100% and returned with 45% with 135 miles on the odometer...

I suspect the up and over and back through Apache Trail will be about 165 miles or so. That is a no range anxiety trip.

Now, Sheep's Bridge? That's in range too from home (South Phoenix) also. But the I-17 corridor has Superchargers so I am not too worried. Crown King similar. "Edge of the world"? That one looks interesting...

Do you have your truck? Last I saw you should have received it yesterday...

Hey guys, I take delivery 9/27. Off to wrap, then I will be poking around too.
I'm in East Mesa.
Apache Trail is one of the first on my list. I'm up for anything not too sketchy.
I have a SXS to satisfy my hardcore offroad needs.

Excellent! You will love it! Apache Trail will probably be a zoo for awhile now that it is finally open and the weather is getting cooler.

Let me know if want to head out there!

Sorry, didn't see you replied until now. Yes, I got the truck on 9/10 and immediately put it to work. Off road play is a ways off, hopefully after this stupid late heat breaks.

Did Schnebly Hill Road today. Not sure how that’s a green “trail” but the Beast handled it well. Very bumpy!

Done it several times with the kids. It’s a very fun trail in my opinion.
Also like the Verde River Valley trail.
Have any of you been off-roading out near lake pleasant? On-x shows some nice looking short trails. Good place to go?

I took my AWD all along the control road and adjacent forest service trails / roads on an elk hunt last October up on the Mogollon Rim. It was raining and muddy as hell! Truck did awesome! We’ve also taken it to the Edge if the World above Sedona. It was incredible.

I’m so sold on it that we sold our first one and bought another with free Suoercharging!

I’ve added a Urander flat roof rack so that we can add a tent. I’ve got an Uplugged Performance set of 4 roof rails and side sail Molle Panels if interested. I only removed them to install the Urander rack system. Retail the UP are $3,690 but I’ll part with them for $1,999 (UP charges a 25% restocking fee and I’d have to pay shipping to return them.

Have you wired in either the frunk or roof 48v lines? I’ve added a 360 watt Buck Converter to make a 12v output and I run stuff like a small fridge/cooler. I also charge a Bluetti power bank with it.

Did you go to the top of 4 peaks? Was there any snow?

The truck does get dusty on the trails and forest roads!

no snow last time I was on Four Peaks. I am headed there today as soon as I motivate. Where did you charge to get to Edge of the World? Tried Schnebly Hill road yet?
