I'd prefer "racing stripe"A few months ago I dubbed it 'the skidmark'
fashion tells us longitudinal stripes make you appear widerI'd prefer "racing stripe"
It’s very rarely used. It would be the equivalent to you putting a trash an washing station in your garage. I think they would only need to certify like one out of every 25000 vehicles to ensure their design and manufacturing aren’t faulty. I can’t imagine they test every vehicleNo water ingress testing booth inside of a brand new factory?
Why would the specific location of the water ingress testing both matter one iota?I have worked at vehicle assembly plants. We had a requirement to water test a certain amount of completed vehicles on every shift. It is unusual (to me) that the factory would not have a water test booth inside of the plant. Maybe they do, and the existing booth cannot fit the CT?

I've noticed a lot of your posts attempt to throw shade on Tesla, but without any real ammunition. It's habitual.
Being exposed to the elements is hardly releveant to a booth specifically designed to flood a car with high volumes of water under pressure. It's already designed to withstand the elements.IMHO, if a dedicated test booth is outside, then it is exposed to the elements. This would cause the need for additional maintenance and their resultant costs.
