Picked up my cyber truck this weekend and it really is something else. now I’m traveling back today to St. Louis from Dallas, Texas. Fit and finish and solid build of the interior are actually really really good. I’m glad they stuck with soft materials throughout the cabin, even below the waste line.
I have had a few problems on my trip though. When activating cruise control, the truck pretty much flipped out, phantom breaking vibrations for about three seconds. I was then hit with a couple error, pages and alerts.
No traction control
No ABS
No automatic breaking
No ride height adjustment
No regeneration breaking
Not a very great way to start a road trip in my opinion.

Going to continue on with caution I do think setting cruise control with dirty cameras at night may be a slight problem.

Wondering if anyone else has had this issue. I’m charging now in Denison Texas. Hoping these issues may resolve themselves. If not, I’ll have to take it to Tesla later.

I’ve had similar issues with phantom braking, seems like it’s in situations with potential conflict. But have noticed it’s inconsistent …..we need FSD !

If tesla would just allow us to use dumb cruise it wouldn't be such an issue until the vision suite is properly tuned.

But for some reason they have a vendetta against dumb cruise like they do against physical buttons, so...

That is quite a drive, keep us updated, some things will restart on supercharging, also may want to restart the truck letting it shut down all the way then boot back up.
Be interested in you sharing your range wh/mile picture from the drive along with your thoughts on charging experience.

Second property in Texas. Tesla told me to register in St. Louis and after about 95 days without a van I decided in Texas instead. The minute I made the switch I was issued a vin and could pick up in three days.

@Lemdawg, did you reboot the truck? Press brake pedal and hold down both scroll wheels for 30 seconds. Like Windows, you should always try that first...
Tried that and it still didn’t work. Looks like when I get home I’ll have to schedule service.
