I don't have time to repost, but check out what I posted on Twitter earlier. These shots were taken Monday in the press extension area. There are no windows, just two bay doors, so this is a very rare look in there. This is where the AIDA gear is starting to flow into. I don't know what all the crates are filled with, but there is some AIDA crates along the dirt area, probably machine base / power components as installation begins.

AIDA gear would be BIW machining that would be utilized by the positions we saw posted last week.

That building is massive. I think the biggest thing I've been in is an expo center and I've never been in one larger than that.

Those could be graves. Maybe they will bury Twitter there.
I see we have another sucker for the fake narritive that Twitter's sky is falling.

Twitter was a sick, bloated company. What you are seeing is the mainstream media's fear that Elon is revamping Twitter and has them in his cross hairs. They are laughing with nervousness because they know he is coming for them.

We don't know it was bloated. That's a performance issue, of which, removing staff may make it crash even if it's down to its income.

We do know it was not sustainable, from the filings made in the transfer.

Twitter is trying to do something no other company is profitable doing. Not even Facebook was ever profitable being a media source. (Its profits came from stolen data)

The software that ran the site was bloated and inefficient, management was bloated and inefficent, and rank and file workers were bloated and inefficent with lots of dead wood in the organization not adding significant value.

Elon doesn't compare his companies to other companies, he compares them to the most ideal version of a company he can conceive of. Then he directs the company in that direction.

We don't know that.

Not until we see how it performs later. It presumes a level of performance which may not be attainable.

No, it presumes that the previous structure was inefficent and ineffective. And that doesn't take a lot of presuming.

I'm not going to argue this because it's so easy to wait two years and see what it turns into. We can measure it by various metrics; revenue per employee, profitability, employees per active user, etc.

We'll have to. Profit is not the best measure for a public square, tho.
