I think this should be a good way to gauge the aspects of the CT that people are happy with / unhappy with. (lmk if I missed something important)

I didn't expect the midgate based on all the structural photos we'd already seen. But that and the price are the biggest reasons I might just wait for a Telo. Maybe not. Still on the fence until I drive one probably.

The price is the biggest disappointment. +$30k is an awful lot, and the truck isn't a 6-seater anymore. Not sure what I'll do when I get the call from Tesla. My hope is that the price will have deflated by then.

Beastmode smashes the Raptor R and TRX for about the same price.
So you'd better take a seat and get ready for this hot take. Because, some of you aren't gonna like it.

The CT Beastmode is a hands-down blowout winner, pound for pound, against the halo trophy trucks like the TRX and Raptor R. Yup. I said it.

The dual needs to be $10k cheaper and both need another 50-75 miles of range though. But , for a high end truck the Beast is in the right place.

On top of that the regular dual motor CT has better specs than the TRX and Raptor R. I know the towing crowd and the construction guys looking for a $40k beater are mad. But ... Well.

For the people who are upset for not getting this feature or that feature understand the amount of time, effort, engineering, money and time went into creating this truck. Irregardless of what Elon promised us in 2019, good or bad, a whole lot of people poured years into bringing this truck into existence. For them, I’m not gonna complain about what I personally wanted in a truck that no one asked for my input into designing anyway. At this point I’m just happy it exists.

There was nothing they could do to please everyone. You just proved my point. If they sold them for $10,000 people would just find another reason to complain. It’s everyone’s right to complain but they also can sell a truck that you don’t like. There’s plenty of other options.

After seeing the CT in person, the TRX and Raptor can't hold a candle to the CT. The CT will turn WAY more heads. Park a CT in a parking lot with every other truck and see which one will have a crowd around it. And the kicker... the CBeast absolutely crushes them in every metric. Also the CBeast will have a cerberus on the tailgate to differentiate. Tesla has always been subtle.

I will admit the performance and capabilities are insane. A 60% increase in the advertised price? I just can't justify it. By the time you add the spare tire, necessary for me, and the range extender the price is closer to 100k for the AWD and you loose a lot of your cargo space.

OMG. The tears are insane.

People cherry pick two specs and cry like their mother just hit them.
I might have to take a few weeks off from the forum so that the people who placed all of their hopes and dreams on getting a $70k CT that would tow 14k and get 500 miles in range finally burn out.
My challenge to all the broken hearted... go out tomorrow and buy the truck with all the specs you're pissed the CT didn't give you. Go ahead.

Already have one. 2015 F-150 with a V-8. It doesn't even have the larger fuel tank and has a 500 mile range.
