Pointing toward the sky.


Silent.
Powered.
Waiting.


Looks exactly like something sending a signal to space.


Turns out it's just a portable Starlink Mini mount with its own battery.


But honestly…
the design still feels a little extraterrestrial.

I placed an order for the Standard kit but didn't realize the mounting hardware was a separate item. I placed an order for that last week sometime and I received another Standard receiver. I contacted Starlink about it and they confirmed the wrong item was sent. I got a tracking number for the mounting hardware, then the next day a notice of delivery but the picture was from the previous delivery of the Standard receiver. I contacted Starlink again. I think they understood the problem but I haven't seen a shipped notice yet or a recovery notice for the second dish.
