I think that's a lot of BS. This should have been done before the release of the trucks there was nothing mentioned about it not being available when we bought the trucks, and they are still saying it has power share with no foot notes.
That may be so, but I am not a representative of Tesla. So what are you going to do about it other than saying that you are pissed off? I have already gone through several outages without PowerShare being there for me. I am not litigious by nature so I am inclined to wait (like there is a choice now that it is all installed and paid for) with the assumption that Tesla is doing the best that they can.

The sad reality is Tesla isn't misleading people entirely. They DO have Powershare working for some situations and people have reported using it. Just not people with alternate power sources.

And the date of this notice is?
Now? Those are live links.
Per the Wayback Machine on May 1st it said "Home Backup functionality is expected to be available by June 2024 through an over-the-air update. Until that point, you will be able to charge your Cybertruck using a Universal Wall Connector or any other home charging product you have."

The agreement I signed has nothing about not being able to use power share. the amusing thing it does say there will be a limited production.

One of the reasons I bought the Cybertruck is for the power share since my house is all electric. I have always supported Tesla I have been with Tesla since 2015. I have a 2016S, I just sold my 2022 X plaid I have Tesla solar Panels and 3 Tesla Power Walls and Starlink. Tesla is not the same as it was when I first started with them. They are no longer customer oriented. I used to have X but to much BS on it.

I've been to arbitration with Tesla before. It's a real pain in the ass and time consuming.

getting SLIGHTLY annoyed.. power went out twice and no power share because I'm on solar
Emailed them and they said it will be available later this year even though they emailed me later last year and said it would be ready 2024.

So I'm almost going on one year with the cybertruck and luckily had powershare only for a day for a video lol

Yes, it's super frustrating. A $1.24T company can't afford to hire enough programmers to develop a software solution that prioritizes brand loyalty (folks like you and I that had powerwalls before the truck came out).
I think it's much more of an issue with permitting and the insane variance on local laws than anything. The amount of hurdles Tesla has to jump through with energy products is insane; the average person has no idea how complex that market sector is.

Totally valid point. Somehow I still think Tesla isn't prioritizing this capability high enough. But that's because it directly impacts me.

They for sure don't have it high on their radar; powershere customers probably account for .01% of the base. Since we are early adopters, this is the norm lol.

Is anybody else getting multiple emails welcoming them to "get started with your powerwalls"? I've had PW since 2020, not sure why I am getting 3 emails so far today about them.

I have gotten three so far today. I was also hoping it was a software update to enable powershare, but alas, no luck.
