I also just received the same email, 2 minutes after you did. Doubt there's any correlation between Vin assignment and this email. Fingers crossed and hope I'm wrong.

Huh, I did NOT think my house would have been eligible for Powershare Home Backup hardware installation; however, I just received the email below saying I was. Once I get my VIN and delivery is scheduled, a Tesla Certified Installer will contact me. My house was built in the 1920s, I'll be parking on the driveway, and the electrical panel is on the other side of the house. Plus, we're pretty much consuming all the possible electricity our current connection can provide without submitting for a higher power connection from the city. But great news regardless! I posted this because I haven't seen too many emails stating this, just the survey emails which I filled out maybe a month ago? We do have a NEMA 14-50 Lvl.2 charger already wired in the driveway for our Pacifica Hybrid so maybe that had something to do with it?

Hah. I just created a similar post but with the opposite email. I thought there was no way my house was eligible but it turns out I am. Fingers crossed that means we're all getting a VIN soon

Yup, got the email as well. Got my VIN 6 days ago and thought it meant I was getting a delivery update soon. Just a mass email to everyone who filled out the survey.

I just got the email for a powershare home backup eligibility approval. Looks like they just sent out of bunch of emails about the powershare option. I doubt it has anything to do with getting a VIN. I placed an AWD FSCT order on 12/31. Original email to place FSCT on 12/8.

Have you looked into tax credits and rebates from your local utility company? Getting the Cybertruck's powershare equipment may nudge you to upgrade your house electric service to 200A.

Probably a mass email. My order date was 1/18 and I received the power share eligibility email 30 min ago.

Just got this. Never got email until this one after I completed survey. Haven’t seen anyone post one with this writing mentioning waiting for VIN assignment/delivery scheduling.

Maybe a mass email but clearly they have had to do research on peoples abodes. Some are approved, some are not.
