In SoCal (OC) and lost electricity early this afternoon due to the winds and high fire risk. About 6 hours later and our Cybertruck is still providing electricity to the house. Has used about 25 miles of range so far.

Nice! My power is out to but no poweshare.

I run a long extension cord from the driveway into my kitchen and power my fridge, countertop oven, and a shop light I hang above the living room and kitchen.

I think instead of PowerShare I’m gonna look into those panel generator plug-in backup options. Much cheaper and can just plug into the 240V on CT.

I set the discharge limit to 20%, so plenty to get me to a local supercharger that is out of the fire risk area. That said, I’d likely load up my dad’s 64.5 Mustang and bug out with that since it has much more sentimental value than the CT (despite me absolutely loving the CT). One is more replaceable than the other.

I don’t but that’s a solid idea. I do have a Skywell to make water for me if that becomes an issue.
