Took my truck in for a wiper adjustment and sail panel clip reattachment and for some reason Tesla says they expect to have it done by the 1 th.
The way I see it, any time I’m putting miles on a loaner I’m winning so I’m fine with that and now we have two x’s in the driveway since they gave me a plaid that’s probably been thrashed a fair bit.
Anyway, I parked it in the sun today and noticed a cool effect from the Tesla sticker they probably didn’t intend but thought I’d post it because it was enjoyable.
Probably only good for light colored seats so not most Cybertrucks.

Since it's been thrashed, did you beat the piss out of it?

I’m doing all the things to that it I don’t do to the X I’m married to and the kids ride around in. Yes.
I love our car, I’d never drive it like that. 😎

Right, isn't that what loaners are for? Doing the things you wouldn't do to yours? A couple launches and donuts. never hurt anyone.

We've got an X Loaner at the moment too, not a Plaid though, but feels pokey compared to our Juniper and truck (and in great condition, compared to just about every other loaner we've had). Speed limited to 85mph though, which is ok most of the time, I s'pose.

Never been what the car is about for us but yes, I agree. We own one. It’s really just a pretty excellent minivan with extremely useful entry ergonomics.

Agreed. Of all the Tesla's we've owned, if we had to chose one, it would be the X. It's quirky and the one we owned leaked like a sieve, but love the auto front doors (and the falcon doors, of course). Wish Tesla would give it a bit more love though, the latest 'refresh' is the lightest of light touches.

Yeah. Wasn’t enough for us to upgrade but apparently the advertised range is 350 plus miles. Something that was kind of missed by me probably because it was also not shouted from the rooftops by media sources who all focused on the rave cave lights and modest wheel redesign.
If our x was old enough to not have HW4 and we didn’t already have free supercharging on it that we transferred from our 2016 x, I’d probably consider it.
HW4, luxe package and 350 miles of range would be pretty compelling I think.
I can tell you this much having both an x and a Cybertruck, it’s miles better in terms of FSD. Hopefully v14 will narrow that gap.

Btw, thanks for the rear kickplate wrap. Was able to get it looking beautiful again. Can always count on you.
This is why you buy from a dude like Pete folks and not the lowest bidder from china. Someone who stands behind what they sell 100% and has been selling Tesla parts since before anyone even realized that was a useful business.
