Ordered in early 2020, configured on 5/29 and took delivery on 7/1. I did LTS and have a model X plaid, but am surprised how fast after configure I got it.

Good and bad:

good- Rides likes a plaid in a bad ass truck… wow! Love the interior, higher grade plastics and more soft touch than my Plaid. Software is top notch as usual and love the design.

Bad- gets a lot of attention as we all know. One door was missed by QC. The passenger door is sharp and could cut you when closing. Needs to be sanded down.

Tesla SC aren’t great but we all knew that.
Besides that there are no other things to compare to. It’s so special.

bottomline- it’s stupid in so many ways but amazing in many more.

Congrats - enjoy. At the moment, attention is my number one issue. I get a bad feeling whenever I park in a public place some clown is going to smash a window or slash a tire.

Congrats...yup, our delivery was managed by kids that could have been my Great Grandchildren who would not take their eyes off their phones or quit texting. And there was an assumption that I should know all the ins and outs and simply jump in the CT and roll right out onto the Houston Freeway in front of the SC. We actually drove it out of their garage which I thought weird and full of liabilities but we did it...just glad to get my hands on it. My wife navigated while I simply drove and tried not to climb up over curbs with the tight cornering...takes some getting used to.

the service team is high school kids with braces still… this is tesla biggest area that needs to be addressed.

but I agree, I have another Tesla so I know how to operate, but they said “yours is in the middle over there somewhere.” No one checked over it with me or even walked me to it! But I love it and have to deal with that.

We had a nice young man walk us over and made sure my phone connected. I had EveryDay Chris's checklist but I knew that was not going to fly. The young guy said "jump in, everything is set to Auto". He was right but jumping out onto a major highway straight out of the gate was daunting. I wanted to merge without holding up traffic but hit 85 mph on the merge ramp without even knowing it, scared the crap out of the old man. Being so quiet speed becomes irrelevant...
