lol. We made 4 versions based on the OEM puddle light readings which arrived just before Xmas, and.....none worked, at least in my early-VIN CT. Have another customer testing the same 4 units in a recent VIN, so although I'm not terribly hopeful, maybe we'll make some progress. If not, I have another 2 samples coming this week using a different approach.

I promise we're doing all we can to figure this out quickly, and to my knowledge, other than Tesla, nobody else has figured this out (even though some companies are selling them, just not actually shipping...).

We've never sold puddle (projection) lights for CT. Not for lack of trying, I've got many cartons of them that will never work, based on the logic/assumption a little over a year ago that the factory door lights are the same in Highland as they are CT, but that doesn't translate to the projection lights (also true of the factory projection lights being sold for 3/Y - they don't work in CT).

There's many differences between a normal light vs. a projection light. We have 8 SMDs in the normal lights, but projection lights can only use one. That brings other issues in terms of thermal management and resistance set-up, which also has a bearing on the PCD design and eventually certifications, so it's a whole thing.

I wanted the AO ones but taking a long time.

I just ordered these: https://www.tesstudio.com/products/cybertruck-welcome-puddle-lights-projector-door-step-light-bulbs-led-tesstudio®?variant=50687036817697

Don't know if they are for real or not, no reviews about them anywhere. Hopefully they work.
Interesting to see if they ship. I saw on another thread that they're back to pre-order for 'performance improvements'.
