[Question] Foundation Series Powershare Tesla Shop credit

Will I be able to use the Tesla shop credit I got with my Foundation Series purchase towards my range extender reservation?

I just got my Cyberbeast on Dec 23 2024 so my credit is good until Dec 23 2025. I expect my range extender will be available early 2025. I reserved it along with my Foundation Series purchase so I should be one of the first to receive it. However I am in Canada so maybe I’ll be one of the last of the “front of the line” reservations. Do you think I’ll be able to use the credit towards the purchase?

That’s a really good question. I attempted to get an answer from Tesla regarding using the credit to purchase a powerwall and the answer was , “only items available in the shop can be purchased with the credit. If it isn’t in the Shop Page, the credit cannot be applied.”

I think your issue will be whether or not it's available to purchase, not just on the page, before your credit runs out.

I picked up my AWD in June and have been waiting over six months to be able to purchase the lightbar. Has never been listed for purchase, not sure I'll ever get a chance, especially if it instantaneously stocks out like the speedforms, optimus mini-bot or other goodies. The spare tire still stocks out regularly, so it will be hit and miss.
