So I ordered within the first 12 hours a rear-wheel-drive CT to replace my F-150. I just ordered an all-wheel-drive Tri-motor CT for work and possibly renting it out on Turo/Tesla Network. The difference between my order numbers is 290,000+. I calculated that I was about 90,000 in line after all the people ordering right after the event based on my order number and lower ones I saw posted. Let's say that 40,000 of the orders in the last week are for Teslas other than Cyber Truck. That would give us 340,000 CyberTrucks ordered as of yesterday. Now that's something to think about!

I ordered 7.234533534567 hours (smile) after announcement and figure there where about 60,000 RN's ahead of me at that point. Subtract about 20,000 for errors, dups, other Teslas and then half that due to cancelations (once Tesla gets close to production and asked for final configuration and more $$$) and that puts me 20,000th in line. At an average ramp rate over the first 12 months of production, I might see mine in months 2-4, after production starts - me thinks... ?

I increased my orders from three Cybertrucks to eight. One with a tri-motor for me and seven with dual motor (one for my son and six for a fleet of rentals through the Tesla Network, Tesloop or some other service. All with FSD.
I also plan on buying all of the Cybertrucks with earnings from my Tesla stock options. I hold options to but 900 shares in 2021/2022 at $250 per share (bought in May-August). I plan to add more Tesla options at dips.

112849579 AWD, ordered the morning after the event, would have gone with the Tri-motor but with the Canadian exchange, taxes etc, this truck would end up in the six figure range.

Buy some Tesla stock now with the funds you have to buy the Dual motor and by the time the Cybertruck is ready you will be able to upgrade to the Tri-motor. ?

How low do the reservation numbers go? I ordered the night of the CyberTruck reveal with #112789722 and today, New Year’s, thinking about Tesloop or autonomous ride share ordered a second Cybertruck, #113199380. That is 410,058 number difference, are their more than 410K preorders?

I'm guessing there is, I ordered a couple of weeks ago, and I'm at 430,000 or so in line. I suspect I'll be lucky to get mine in 2023.
