We have a 2017 S and a 2018 X. Both vehicles have air suspension, but when at full height they are so stiff and bouncy that they aren't useful for much more than clearing a tall speedbump. What are the odds that the CyberTruck's suspension will actually be useful for any sort of driving that requires high clearance rather than a single, nearly-parking-speed, obstacle avoidance maneuver? All of the suspension drop seems to be used up, meaning the raised position isn't actually available for realistic driving.

I'm assuming that the MS MX aren't designed to travel in a high suspension setting, a CT would however. The likely reason the suspension is so hard and uncomfortable is because the airbags probably gave to much pressure in them to maintain the ride height. A different sized air bag, and wall thickness would help keep some suppleness. It also necessary on a off road vehicle like the CT for the air suspension to be soft enough to kee0 all 4 wheels on the ground and allow for maximum articulation to get traction down in terrain. Without that it won't work off-road well at all.
