Anyone experience rattling or clicking noise from the rear of the truck. It has happened on three occasions. I'm thinking it could be related to the air suspension. I've heard it randomly filling w air while driving as well. Is this normal? Also when I'm in a custom driving mode with suspension set to higher. I check the actual height on the main screen and it will saw it's at lower height. All these issues make it seem like it could be the air suspension. I will take it to the service center but waiting because it needs to go in for some replacement parts that were damaged upon delivery inspection. I'm waiting on the parts to arrive from Tesla. Want to make one service visit for all these issues. Trying to avoid taking it in for multiple visits. Anyone experience any of these issues?

Are your back seats fully locked into down or up positions? Had an annoying rattle for a bit before I realized one of the rear seats wasn’t fully lifted.

Yes. Seats are fully down. Hard to explain the noise. But it's coming from the right rear. It's happened about 3 or 4 times. I have the music turned down to try and listen to it randomly. Also I have heard the shocks filling w air while driving on a few occasions. Not sure if that is normal either.

I had a rattle that was coming from behind the back seats. Heard while in motion. It even sounded somewhat electronic to me. It turned out to be a bad center seat belt tensioner. Once the part was replaced it’s all quiet in the cabin.

I will double check this area.

Here's the video. Finally caught it making the noise. I'm pretty sure it's the air compressor. Service schedules for later this month.

The foam suggestion worked. I will tell the service center and see what they do to permanently fix it.

This is at the bottom of the rear center console, correct? Under the touchscreen?

Hello Hanzo,

I have the same issue with mine, just as you described it. I have an appt this Friday.
I am thinking on dropping by Tesla today just to ask if that is a normal noise (which I don’t think so), if not , I’ll keep the Friday appt. Here’s my video

Yes. Very similar. It's real loud. Heard it again this am. I have an appt for the 27th. I believe it's the air compressor for the suspension.
