... that one arrived damaged ...
I swear that someone at Tesla made the choice to ship all parts in the least expensive manner possible because I have had to get almost everything I've ordered from them replaced at least once after it arrived damaged.
If you can avoid ordering ANYTHING direct from them, I recommend it.

Who’s trolling ?
About 50% of the people on this thread. Half the comments don't even make sense. They are just throwing out negative comments to make Tesla look bad. I'm not going to walk anyone through it. If you see it, you see it.

It would be nice if Admin picked up on trolls.
I got warned by admin not to 'troll vendors' - all I was doing was pointing out publicly that the vendors who complained to admin were taking advantage of members by pushing subpar items and using AI-rendered art to show the parts 'in use'. Whatever, those vendors have blocked me and I can't see their garbage anymore lol

But actual trolls run rampant sometimes.. it's a bit frustrating tbh

i deal with 3 different service center, funny, i never hear a phone ring, or anyone answering

Anyone have their CT recall completed. I have an appt next Wednesday and wondered how long to repair the panel re-gluing.. I have a two hour drive to get to service and will have a dog home to wait.
Just had it done, it should have been done while I waited (an hour or so) but I had other stuff being done.

They won’t be reglued. They’ll be replaced. Chances are you’ll be without it for a while while they order parts. I took mine in 2 weeks ago for a tailgate delaminating and they had to wait 2-3 days for a new tailgate to come in and that one arrived damaged so I waited another week.
My understanding is that there are both mechanical fasteners and another dose of glue.

Maybe I missed this recall, but they are replacing them? So if im wrapped, I have to rewrap whatever is replaced?
Correct. I had a cant rail replaced late last year before the recall because it was bent and was causing excess wind noise. The repair was free and Tesla was prepared to pay for the re-wrap, but my wrapping/tinting/coating company did it for free.

I've reconfirmed with Tesla that they will cover the cost of the dual cant rail re-wraps that will be done under warranty and that, sadly, my cant rail replacement of last year is part of the recall.

In short, a PITA from a time away from my CT perspective, but otherwise no cost.

Was there another recall issued for other body panels or are you all referencing the cantrail recall?

I'm only referring to the cant rails and assume that's what everyone else is commenting on, but we'll see.

I am in the same boat. 5 hrs round trip. Mine are not loose and seem perfect so I am not going to even bother with it. Seen some pictures that seems to make the replacement look worse with a few weld spots to the truck.

That said, I’m in no rush to have them replaced since mine have been fine (built Nov 15, 2024), and I’ve been seeing pics of poorly replaced contrails.
I wonder when they began installing the new design at the factory? I'm not sure what my manufacturing date was, but I took delivery in the first week of December. I was at the SC on Tuesday this week (delaminated tailgate!) and asked where I was on the cantrail recall. They looked at my file and told me it wasn't showing as needed. That implied mine was fine, which I thought was odd. I had understood that the problem existed until only very recently?
