I have a low reservation Cybertruck, and opted in for the Cyberbeast Founders Edition when I was invited to complete my reservation in December of 2023. At the time of reservation completion I was given an estimate of mid to late 2024.
Outside of my power survey, it was mostly quiet since then, until I got a text message from Tesla two days ago from a local delivery team asking me to verify pre-delivery details are still accurate, and if changes need to be made to let them know as soon as possible.
It goes on to say that I will receive notifications when I get matched to a VIN, and when it's time to schedule pickup. It says to tell them if there are any dates in which I'd be unavailable, as they can only hold for 3 days.
Is this a sign that Cybertruck Cyberbeasts may be delivered sooner than Summer-Fall 2024? I did searching on these kinds of communications from other Tesla owners for previous models and they said this pretty much always came right before a VIN was assigned, and delivery.
