Removed sun visors and rear view mirror

I was really annoyed at how the ct has this beautiful ginormous windshield but the sun visors obscure it when not used, and I never even use them. Tried to remove them myself, following the manual. But after breaking a fair plastic clip, I paid to get them removed by a pro shop, and also the rear view mirror which was also useless.

Torn, I hate visors in general but they serve a purpose...I'll take the mirror off and see if the visor's block my line of site in any meaningful way to determine if I pull them!

Yeah, but they don't do as well as the visors in direct sunlight. Sometimes, you just want to block that fiery ball of gas.

That's a hot look, and likely the two side mirrors pass any states regulations for rear facing mirrors. Keep in mind the sun is powerful. I learned that when I first bought my X. That windshield went back behind my head. Its a lot of heat on your face and head. I'm planning on a 97% UV blocking film, (getting placed today!!! ). Good Luck and I rarely take the time to place the visor when facing a setting sun. Drive on!

That is one way to stop the drive selection housing from coming off the window when someone tries to move the visors.

Look outside now. You will see this giant bright ball, I no longer remember what that is, but it does show up sometimes

Ironically I took it into Tesla a few weeks ago and they fixed this issue already lol

Was it easy to remover the mirror base? I would remove the mirror but not the visors.
