Looks like it's just a backup camera, which the truck already has. Not sure the battery would last very long if you try to use it continuously.

I’m almost finished installing the wolf box mirror. I ordered one of their oem mounting kits, maybe a Toyota, and took out their stalk. We then 3D printed the sleeve to size up from the cyber stalk to make them work. Now it fits more like oem.

I’m going to place the camera inside the rear door of the camper top, but have not finished it yet, tomorrow afternoon or Friday morning.

I am happy to share the 3-D print file in the Amazon links that I bought the parts on if anybody’s interested.

How well does your mirror setup work?

I would like them to. Even if overpriced in the store it would be something worthwhile to spend the Powershare credit on.

An integrated package with left and right side rearview screens at the A pillars would be awesome.

Totally. Really missed an opportunity to make a truly next-gen truck (in this regard, they nailed it with the design!). Do't have the Powershare credit yet, lol, that's another issue, and with the TX power grid forecast to fail this summer, kinda want to get things hooked up.

Finally got this finished for the road trip to Laguna Seca! I really like this set up, much better than the screen, should have been like this from Tesla. I have the camera mounted inside the back window on the cap.

please share how you routed wires, and where you tapped power. Thanks.

I just finished a similar install using the Wolfbox G900 mirror. I used the original Cybertruck mirror mount and the ball sleeve STL that CYBERTRUCKco generously provided. I opted for a license plate camera mount since I don't have a cap and preferred that over the hitch mounted camera some people have used. Overall, I'm happy with it, since the stock rear view bar on the center screen is just too small for me to make out detail and I don't like it vanishing when I use the turn signals.

A few downsides in my opinion:

The 12" mirror is a little too big, 10" would probably fit better, block view less and resolve some of the clearance issues with the top power and camera inputs. As is, the USB C power and rear camera 2.5mm jack rub against the forward camera housing.

The camera FOV appears almost identical to the FOV in the center screen rear view mirror bar. It's bigger so you can make our more detail, but I'd really prefer an option to narrow the FOV on the display or just a narrower FOV camera.

The display could use a day/night mode. It's too bright at night and the contrast makes it look washed out.

I'm hoping that somebody develops a digital mirror that intercepts and splits the stock rear camera signal and lets you adjust and crop the image onto a 10" or so display with a Cybertruck inspired design. I'd happily pay more for something that looks like a factory accessory with more focus on function as a mirror replacement rather than a backup camera (i.e. narrower FOV).

My tech did it, but behind the mirror mount, across the headliner, through back door through the sail down to the back of truck.

power is plugged in to the back seat charger, but could go tap into the running light on the roof light if you wanted no inside plug in.

I agree with all of this!
