Reservation for multiple family members

I did two Tesla cyber truck reservations. One for me and one for my dad.

Am I going to have to be a co registrant on his to get delivery?

Mine founder edition just got approved which I have filled out for myself and my wife.

I don’t want to risk loosing mine.
Really appreciate any advice!

i just spoke with a sales rep. They said that after you each purchase your CTs, they can transfer the second one from your account to your brother’s. That was from a low level sales rep, so take with a grain of salt. I’m in the same boat. My brother put down the 1K for the 2nd CT reservation i have. So i now have two orders.

So will you both just use the same app to register as separate people?

I have no problem letting my dad use my app to upload all his info. As long as it won’t mess with the order I already did

Honestly, i don’t know yet how this is all going to play out. It’s my first Tesla so I’m still really new to this… that said, I’ll let you know when i find out more… I got a call from someone at Tesla today, but missed the call. Waiting to hear back from them. Could be about the 2nd order

I put my orders in as soon as the reservations went live. Ironically the second one was 20k ish away from the first even though I did them as fast as I could lol

Did you place a reservation for him because he's not really tech savvy? If so, I'd plainly tell them that and ask nicely if one of those reservations can be assigned to his account.

They should be able and willing to help out with them. May take them a little while to get the right person on it though.

I have three reservations for family and myself ahead of the launch. I just configured first one for Foundation Series Cyberbeast. I believe I may get invited to configure other two reservations shortly considering I am in California. I may not have a use of other two and may cancel in due time.

I just read an article that said only one foundation series per account. So if I what my dad to get one I’m going to have to call and see if they will transfer.

Oh, I wouldn't worry about that. Just explain it exactly how it is and they will work with you.

I finally called today and they said they can only transfer the entire account but not the reservation. But he can register the truck in my app and once delivery is done transfer the truck to his account.

So he can’t get a foundation as only one per account, but he can still get one When the non foundation come out.

As a follow up. I can’t find article as it’s been so long. But I did pickup a cyber truck and we had to joint register it to keep it easy.
I believe we could have just registered it in his name and they would not have cared but it did have to be in my account. We didn’t want to risk not getting it so we didn’t try.

Despite our reservation numbers being close they will not let us get second one until everyone else gets shot at founders. Is what they said they “think” is happening (from store guy). Honestly I don’t think they know either but it does appear as if that is true for now.
