This is only remotely informative if you’ve somehow arranged to take delivery in the US

If not, your reservation number doesn’t really tell you anything at this point

Tells me that my 5 minutes loss of concentration during the opening of sales cost me And that I will have to wait till 24 for delivery.
So I appriciate every información, even if it's speculative

"Norway leads the world in electric vehicle (EV) adoption: EVs account for more than 20 percent of passenger vehicles in the country and more than 80 percent of new vehicles sold."

With this in mind, and
Tesla holds nearly 50% market share in Norway

I would not be surprised if Tesla would try an early showing in Norway for its foreign market. Not this year, but maybe next year.

If you are outside the US and Canada, there is no chance you’ll get your vehicle within the first couple years even in Norway. This vehicle most likely will never even make it to Europe, just because of its size.

You could have number 1 for a one motor CT and may never get it.
Which CT you order, where you live and what option you order will play a factor in when you get your CT.
That is what I saw when I ordered mY in 2021.

Which CT you order, where you live and what option you order will play a factor in when you get your CT.
That is what I saw when I ordered mY in 2021.

Because that's how it works. If they call your number and you're like, "Naw, man, I'll wait for the single-motor..." they'll let you wait. Unles they decide the wait is too long, and they'll let you switch or cancel. It's not like they didn't call their number.

That's not how it's previously worked on MS/X refresh or the MY.

Basically the configurator opened to all and you configure what you want and where it was delivered and deliveries were based on what you ordered and where you are.

That is how it worked. They opened the configurator to people in batches.

So - I guess that means my RN115484364 reservation number puts me 2,744,100 (from a 2021 order) in the queue... If so, I guess I should expect a call some time in 2029 (assuming 10% of the people ahead of me change their minds or die, and a 375,00 annual production run rate. I'm going to put this on my calendar to remind me to stay home and await the call in June 2029.

No. The reservation numbers includes all other pre-release products from Tesla. Which through that period included the Model Y, the Model S, the Model X, the Plaid, the Semi, the Roadster, Powerwalls, Megapacks, and Solar.
