So a bureaucrat that contributed little to the advancement of anything is whining that someone that has provided jobs for tens of thousands of people and advanced technology in transportation and space made money. Someone send him a trophy for participation so he can feel good about himself. Maybe he'll move on and find something else to complain about. Just another sad disillusioned person that thinks that the world was meant to be fair.

Don't think he was going after Musk here so much as wealth inequality.

One idiot complaining that someone is too successful should be ignored and I am now breaking my own rule. Now spent two minutes in a paradox over whether to hit the post reply button and lost.

More class warfare from a career political pogue.
The fact that idiots like him get into positions of authority in government makes me fear for the Republic.

Even the guy who basically wtote the book on Capitalism said there had to be strong regulations else it would eat itself. And time and time again, he's been proven right on that.

It's a balancing act. Too much inequality and the system collapses. Too much protectionism and it grinds to a halt.

And as AI takes over the final human jobs, we'll have to find a new way to distribute basic wealth.

I agree that no one is worth that much but he could not pick a worse example. World is full of wealthy people that live off of speculation. He picked one person that actually contributes something just because he thought he could make his point better with a larger number. Elon as an example makes me think may be there is a point to capitalism and inequity. If he used Warren Buffett, he would be driving his point home much better with me.

We live in a capitalist society, not a communist one. If you want wealth equality, maybe you should live in Cuba. Or fucking Russia.
Russia's Ginni coefficient is 37.5 whilst Canada's is 33.3.
The US is more comparable to capitalist strongholds like Iran, Senegal and Haiti
