That's pretty retarded to claim it being a "leak" if 2-3litres ran across the road and was cleaned up??

I'm pretty sure these "Greenies" are supported by the fossil industry.

But the 15,000 liters that leaked in the paint shop itself. Just think of the harm all of that slightly hazardous paint that didn't get into the water could do.

/Sarcasm off

lol.

I think more along the lines of those who are selling fossil fuel, not those that don't need it anymore.

EV's is a big thing in Germany, I saw it with my own eyes recently. Now with Ukraine and Russia they want it even more, there's no turning back for vehicle manufacturers there at all. They're racing towards it now, the industry has past over the threshold of change.

But Green hippies have always been the bane of environmental progress to convert from fossil.
Look up how many "green groups" are anti renewables. They just don't want human progress, and want us to devolve back to wearing thongs and linen robes, but are happy to utilize other peoples resources to do their bidding...aka internet, mobile phones, courts, governments etc etc.

I call them EH! - Environmental Hypocrites

Protecting the environment is a very complicated thing. Just because Plan A is hurting the environment doesn't mean we should rush into plan B damn the consequences. We should methodically consider risks, consequences and rewards. Just because a group wants to look into the environmental effects of a plan for renewable resources does not mean they are against all renewable resources. That is a painful oversimplification of a complex issue. But "Green Groups Against Renewable Energy" is quite the clickbait I have to admit.

Thats why I hate renewable energy oversimplification that excludes externalities, and can only be achieved with fossil energy powered manufacturing (I'm looking at you wind and solar), and prefer to focus on sustainable development and systems, where resource use is cyclic and incompasses as many externalities and by-products as possible.

I"ve had and seen so many "Green groups" go against renewable energy projects its not a joke and I don't take it lightly at all.

Sabotage?
Yes, Possible

A lot have motive.

There are a lot of entities that could easily pay $100,000 to hurt Tesla and those entities would profit by $10s of millions (short sellers, fossil fuel industry, legacy auto OEMs competitors, etc).

People don't realize how cheap and effective it is to get 150-200 people over the span of a year to sign an NDA and cause "issues" either IRL or online. For companies that spend hundreds of millions per annum for commercials and ads; to spend $2M (maximum) per year for online FUD campaigns and "incidents" is almost a no-brainer.

In my experience, organizations with self-serving agendas always pick the most ironic name possible as a smokescreen. You know, the people trying to marginalize "unwanted demographic group A" will call themselves "The Freedom Council" lol.

Sure, Tesla spilled a few thousand litres of paint, they should (and did) clean it up. Meanwhile, ICE vehicles worldwide put 8,000,000,000 kg of CO2 into the atmosphere yesterday.

The article actually says 2-3l which is even more ridiculous. I mean I've tipped over my fair share of paint cans in my garage, does that make me an environmental terrorist? No, it just makes me a poor floor artist.

With several caveats, thongs and linen robes sound good to me. :)

Influential UK net zero sceptics funded by US oil ‘dark money’
Net Zero Watch said it won’t take cash from fossil fuel investors – but we discovered a Net Zero Watch funder with millions in oil company investments.
The Global Warming Policy Foundation (GWPF) lobbying group, which also campaigns as Net Zero Watch has received more than half a million dollars from an oil-rich foundation (linked to the controversial billionaire Koch brothers) with huge investments in energy firms.
