Billet Aluminum Mirror Delete Kit - https://cybertruckco.com/product/cybertruckco-billet-aluminum-mirror-delete-kit/

Finally arrived today and installed, looks badass! Took 15min to remove mirrors and install.

Pros: sleeker look, like the concept, better side visibility across the A piller. I like the detail lines on them, match the locking caps.

Cons: takes a second to look at the center screen when using turn signals for the camera. Although if you glance at the side and somebody there the red warning light comes on.

I know other customers shipped today as well.

what do you guys think?

Looks great having that Cybertruck angular / triangular design. I prefer this to a flat piece look actually.

Must feel great being made from billet aluminum.

They look like high end motorcycle parts.

She also has has the lift rod mods that’s being finalized now; 5/8” higher in low, 1” higher in medium and 2” higher in high mode. Rides just as nice and sits like a proper truck now

My worry would be that if you put together different kinds of metals, there will be a chemical reaction. I think it was mentioned on Munro too that they have to isolate the gigacasting from the steel shell.

From our new friend, ChatGPT:

When aluminum and steel are in contact, especially in the presence of an electrolyte (like water), a galvanic reaction can occur. This can cause corrosion, particularly of the aluminum, due to the difference in their electrochemical potentials. It's similar to a battery. The aluminum and steel form a galvanic cell where aluminum acts as the anode and corrodes, while steel acts as the cathode and is protected from corrosion.

Coming from an Aerospace background, I was just going to say the same thing.

I have not installed these yet, but I found Midnight Garage out of Fremont that’s fabricating these. I was going to wrap it with my 3M white vinyl too, but when I had the mirrors off and drove it, I actually preferred the beefy size of the mirrors on the truck so I haven’t installed them. They include a thick rubber gasket to run around the edges to create a water tight seal too. I personally would prefer the flush look that these provide; but the ones you installed are pretty cool too! Nice work.

These guys can be reached at [email protected].

I think an aftermarket door handle concept similar to this would be nice too.

They look great!! As long as there's a rubber boundary between the aluminum and steel you'll be good.

I was looking at prototyping this exact type of replacement, considering that most states that require side mirrors are often very vague at what technically constitutes as a "mirror".

No part is the best part!-no start button, no stalk, no door handles, no mirror, no buttons & knobs-what a saving!!! It's sounds/looks so great to be a long term T$LA investor!! 💪 (y)
