Silverado EV Predictions

The Silverado EV is going to be revealed 1/5 at CES. What distinguishing (if any) features do you think it'll have? My understanding is 4 wheel steering, 400 mile range, glass roof, and EV specific subframe. Glad to see all these EV trucks coming to production!

Instead of catching up with everyone else‘s features, I would be inclined to undercut price and market dependable tried and true features while hyping battery and motor performance.

As to Chevy, I think they are also caught up in bells and whistles.

it'll look like a regular ICE truck with performance inferior to the CT and a lot of vague generalities and maybe dates.

Looking at the Hummer and the monster battery on it, I’m wondering how in the hell they are going to make a Silverado that doesn’t look comical. The Hummer already looks chunky and giant so I think people overlook the chonk. People will expect the Silverado to look like a Silverado… chonk free.

Ford showed you can make a normal looking EV truck using similar tech, but with 100 miles less range. The Cybertruck gets away with its size due to having a much smaller, structural pack. How is Chevy cramming 400 miles in?

When I see a contractor who is going to haul, they generally have a big ass 2500. The traditional Silverado is a light-duty half ton. I'm curious if they are even going to try and get anywhere near the CT spec which are borderline MD or if they are going to play it safe with their world leading GM Ultium batteries.

Chevy has SuperCruise, last I heard, it was all geo-fenced.

If a lightning can power a house, what's the gimmick that a Silverado will do??
