Really all you get in beast mode is a sub 3 second vehicle weighing 240 lbs more with less range and no better truck capacity as far as towing and payload. Why would anyone pay $20k more to go from 3.9 to 2.6 sec. 0-60. That can't really be the only benefit. 99.9999999999% of people would never be able to tell the difference.

yeah lots of questions there. Website says it can go 18mph faster too.... not sure I'd use that more than 4-5x in its lifetime

Yea for real. I saw that and immediately thought I don't even want the beast mode because of decreased range. Weird that they did that.

You lose the IRA credit of 7500 going over the 80k price point so it’s really about 27,500 to go that fast. Hopefully there is more value there than just a speed boost.

0-60 times for the "all-wheel drive" doesn't look to be subtracting the rollout like Tesla does for the other performance models across their lineup, including the "Cyberbeast". Actual difference in 0-60 time is probably even closer.

Theres several dozen Jeep Gladiators just in my SoCal gladiators group in that range and many well above it that wheel. I have close to that in mine and the underside looks like a Freddy Krueger nightmare.

I think letting people spend money on recreation the way they want to is your best strategy

It also depends on which webpage you're on- 3.9 on info page and 4.1 on order page

It looks like there are other differences. In the three motor versions there is a different front to rear setup as well as a mechanical lock out for the front axle.

Is it worth $20K? Probably not, but they'll still sell a lot of them.

$20K gets you 1 more motor that offers more power (that alone is worth it for some) AND:

1) Lightbar (available for installation at a later date)
2) $4K (I think that's the correct amount) Installation Credit of Powershare

Having said that, I got the FS Dual Motor as I don't really need anything faster than 4 sec (real world testing is actually lower)

The same reason some of us bought a Hellcat vs a standard SRT. Or the BMW M3, vs the standard 3 series. Or the Model y performance vs the long range.

Likely, similar reasons people want the Foundation Series and others don’t.

1. Preference
2. More power.
3. Because we can.
