So, where is my ASS?

Leaving the office late tonight, (grueling day) and I’m walking across the parking lot into the garage and remembering that (while I can with my Model S Plaid) I can’t summon my CB which is what I drove today!

Why is this taking so long? It’s not like FSD was completely perfect on any S3XY car (even those without sensors) before ASS was installed. What benchmarks are we waiting for?

My. ASS was installed when I was born, although it came with a large crack in it, it still functions well.

They admitted on the earnings call last night that the Cybertruck's FSD capabilities are limited due to volume. They don't have the dataset required to safely build those functions (summon, ASS, reversing, button-start-FSD, etc) into the CT yet - there are millions of 3s and Ys, but only 10s of thousands of Cybertrucks.

Excellent point, that I had sort of forgotten. I don’t think they’re ever going to have comparable numbers, so, they’re definitely going to have to turn to virtual training and then real world validation.

I’m glad they said something (and this makes sense regarding lack of CT volume / data). It seems far away since they don’t talk about ASS and they don’t list it as an upcoming feature.
