We will agree to disagree, the big man said that’s it’s going to happen. Tesla owners should be emboldened and not afraid of the Haters.

No ICE brand has ever had the level of respect from the higher office than Tesla.
What universe do you live in? Most of us on here are not afraid of the haters. As a matter of fact most of us say we have no plans to stop driving our trucks. All we really want is to be left alone and not have to think about stupid shit like our trucks getting painted or lit on fire while at some hotel on a family trip. No one, including Musk, is going to protect my family while we are out in the wild with the bonkers humans doing this stuff. That task fall on me and it will be done.

Well, not no one. If I saw someone attacking another cybertruck and the owner intervened I would jump in to help de escalate the situation. If the owner did nothing well then i'll do nothing, it is only an object that can be replaced. But humans cannot be.

edit: but yes, 99% of the time you are looking out for yourself and your family.

Oh yes, I totally agree with that as well. I think many of us would help but it really seems most humans these days would rather record something happening on their phones than get involve or help someone. Sad.

I had to do it, as much as I love my Cyberbeast
Need the cash we got bigger fish to catch this time
I got $109,000 for it not bad right?
If you think I'm making a mistake, tell me why?
I can still back out for 1 more day
Mistake? Eh, to each his own. Personally, I’m driving my Blade Runner truck until it turns to dust. 😀

Done taking a cashiers check for $109,000
I'm wondering if I could have sold it back to tesla
And how that would work ?
How much would they pay ?
Has anyone done this with tesla?

They won't buy them or even trade it for a different vehicle.

Well the Guy could not finish the payment process online.
After giving him a few days to do so and several phone calls with me back and fourth.
For some reason he was not able to compleate the payment process online.
He said he could give me a cashiers check and agreed to meet me at my bank and wait for me to cash it.
I gave him the Google map to my bank
Then he tried to come after the bank is close by telling me he's got his business open, and they close at 4:30
I told him that wont work for me.
It was around 1:30 he said ok ill close early and meet you at 2pm
He got lost went way past my bank didn't make it till 3pm
Good thing my bank closes at 5pm
He gives me the check in an envelope
He hasn't even seen the truck yet.
So I tell him don't you want to see the truck first?
He didn't even notice when I drove past him that I was there. I had to call him more than once on his phone then I walked around to the front to find him.
He was like whatever let's go see it.
And he didn't know about the bad scratch on my front bumper.
But he didn't care didn't even try and negotiate he was like whatever with it.
So I look at the check and the amount was $110,090 so I show him why this amount?
He said oh I added the extra $100 that we agreed for canceling the online transaction
I was thinking is he dumb or what the price was $108,990 he added $100 to it and came out with
$110,090 so I said ok. Got in line gave it to the teller he told me it will take a few days to clear
Since its from a different bank. I said ok go ahead and ill tell the buyer hell have to wait for the check to clear then ill give him the keys after. So I'm about to endorse the check and he says hold on let me see the check he takes another look at it ....unfourtunetly we cant accept the check its not in your name the guy got my first name wrong instead of Armando he wrote it to Alejandro.
So no sale yet.
Should I give him another chance tomorrow?

Sounds like a scam to me. He was dicking around all afternoon and tried to give you a false check.

No one else will pay that price. So it both looks like a scam and it's worth seeing out. If it's a cashiers check, there's no wait. They are certified checks and the money is moved from the bank to make it.

I've cashed 100k cashier's check from some random bank and had all the funds immediately.

AH SHIT! 💩 Sorry man. No, walk away! If he can’t get you a cashiers check for the right amount. 🙂↔

He’s definitely overpaying, and now it’s gotten fishy? Trust what you’re seeing.

Yeah but the bank will do what they can to try and delay and prolong it just in case.
And I wasn't going to hand over the keys just like that, I told him that if it didn't clear immediately he would have to wait until it did. And I would then make out a bill of sale check his info with a valid ID take a photo of it and him and I'll get a shot of the car he came in. And let the DMV and insurance know. I think that would cover my security.

Like previous poster said, sounds like a scam yet the price is good to see it through. I would proceed with low expectations…

But ya this is like strike 4 or 5 in my book…. lol. GL

Alejandro is a good one.
If someone asked me think of another Hispanic name with 7 or 8 letters that starts with A and ends with O
I would have never thought of Alejandro
Amado
Arturo
Alfonso
Alfredo
I just asked chat gpt and it gave me almost the same list with the addition of Anastio and Alejandro
