You just appreciate the finer things in life. These other people either donā€™t have one or just like to complain because they feel they overpaid.

No other Truck can match the ride quality of the CT. Tesla is known for the best suspensions in the industry.
Having had an 2021+ Escalade on a road trip as well as my recently departed Raptor 37 and Raptor R. The former two trucks MY21 and MY24 respectively were the best driving road trucks ever. The new Raptors suspension is cloud like, you wonā€™t feel an imperfection in any road, and itā€™s dead quiet in the cabin with the exhaust on quiet mode and its active noise cancellation which works extremely well.

That said, the Cybertruck has been by far a close second in terms of trucks Iā€™ve had on long 1000+ mile road trips. This includes RAM TRX, the aforementioned Escalade, and my wifeā€™s current 2025 Explorer ST when comparing newer model year vehicles. Older model year trucks Iā€™ve driven including my Gen1 and Gen2 Raptor donā€™t compare at all to the CT.

Worth noting that the wind noise under certain travel conditions is very real. I will have some trips that are dead silent but in a headwind travel situation at freeway speeds the wind noise is much louder than most vehicles. At least in mine. But thatā€™s my only complain from the noise department.

Give my wife's SQ7 (bank vault) an advantage overall, but also not on 35" tires and not a truck! CT's damn good in this category!

Do you have the All-Terrain tires on it? I was surprised how little you can hear the tread noise, even on the highway, from inside the Cybertruck.

The "winter" All Terrain tires Tesla sells have a very aggressive blocky tread and are audible inside the cabin, but not as much as I would have thought. The cabin remains serene feeling even though you can hear a slight amount of tread noise from the more aggressive tires.

One of my biggest concerns from the time of the reveal in 2019 until people started getting deliveries was that the exoskeleton would transmit all kinds of road noise into the interior of the cabin. I was concerned the cabin might sound boomy or harsh/loud inside when driving on bad pavement. It turns out I was worried about nothing. I think the stainless exoskeleton actually helps dampen road noise compared to a car or truck made with thin, stamped sheet metal. And of course the double-layer sound absorbing glass contributes to the quiet interior.

I must honestly say.. when I did a few demo drives I was not overly impressed with ā€˜quietnessā€™ as people were reporting..

But the reality is that the unit I have is much more peaceful than my demo drives.. canā€™t explain it but thatā€™s what it is.. maybe early fleet units vs better builds now? šŸ¤·ā€ā™‚ļø

ā€¦but my steering wheel squeaks šŸ¤£šŸ˜‚šŸ¤Ŗ

All your demo drives were on All Terrain tires, you have the All Season tires. It's a subtle difference but that probably explains the noted differences.

I have an early built (VIN #44xx) and it's very quiet. I can barely hear a slight tread noise from the AT tires and wind noise is better than most cars (never been in a pickup this quiet).

The comparison under discussion was between the standard All-Terrain tires and the base Pirelli All-Season tires.

I agree the AT's are quieter than the RT's, I have both also.

Reading the last 20 post in this thread. I never realized how many people like to drive in complete silence šŸ¤« turn the radio on! Maybe some skynyrd or even some Luke Combs. Sht even some yacht rock will take care of this for you, it will change your life

I've noticed how solid and quiet the ride inside my Cybertruck feels. I keep reading about people noticing wind noises, rumbles, rattles and squeaks.

Is there something wrong with my Cybertruck?
Mine WAS like that until yesterday. Now, I get a very noticeable creak in my seat when turning and at low speed. I didn't think anything like that would bother me, but it does.

You assume too much. The creaking is pretty friggin loud. Besides, I'm at that age where I have to turn the radio down when I'm navigating new areas...

huh. Sorry about that. I thought you were the person saying "Why do so many of you ride around in silence? Turn on the radio..." and that's what I was referring to.

Ooo , I thought youā€™re referring to a ā€œloud creaking noiseā€ you have. Must of been a misunderstanding, i šŸ‘šŸ½
