those are some snappy moves! looking promising :) thanks, i can not take the wait 😭
I'm curious is it is ratio'd by speed. It's not always so aggressive, but at low speeds you don't have to turn your wheel 3x full rotations to turn the vehicle.

yep, definitely looks progressive. with the introduction of RWS in all trims, its the perfect opportunity and test bed for the technology.. looks like its getting this guy a while to get used to though

But hey, I don't mind if I am wrong and I hope Tesla can shorten the nose in future iterations.

Wouldn't you have to be able to see the driver and specifically the steering wheel/oval to know if it is steer by wire or not? I.e. in order to see how far he turns it (or not) compared to the angle of the tires?

Seems there is enough (just) room to get out the truck out without a squeeze.

Anyone notice if Tesla charging bays are wider than a typical car park ?

Jury is still out if it's steer by wire. This is just four-wheel steering.

it’s steer-by-wire

I’ve been 20’ away from one making a u-turn, able to see the driver/wheel through the entire maneuver

and driver turned the wheel from straight to maybe 130° left (would put lock-to-lock at ~270°)

While you the viewer can’t see it because of lighting conditions in this video, IRL I could just fine (was watching for it)

I was going to ask kind of the same question. Why do Teslas sound like space ships when they are in reverse?
That noise was happening when it was going forward too; I think it was something else, maybe the chargers. I have a Modrl Y and the noise it makes in reverse I believe is mandated by the NHTSA.

That's very exciting, super pumped for this! Really hoping to get a "please log in and configure your Tesla" email soon!
