I am retired and considering a Tesla Semi. I am not interested in taking the long and boring diesel driving course for semies. Will/could Tesla make a deal to create their own course for Tesla Semi electric vehicles?

These are two very different vehicles use in similar situations....

your vehicle laws will determine the requirements for licensing ie air brakes, etc.

I’m guessing but it would probably be faster to take the diesel class and license instead of waiting for a school somewhere (Tesla or otherwise) to get a Tesla Semi to train on and for any regulations to be changed to make that license different.

My bet would be that before all that happens, FSD will be driving the trucks so you won’t need a license.

But I love driving... They will pry my dead hands off the steering wheel...

What about very dangerous logging trails, temporary ice roads in Canada and etc. Perhaps we could send a lot of FSD trucks for those special types of jobs.

nevermind temporary ice roads..... go down unplowed side streets that have 5 foot high snow banks down the middle. welcome to life in a northern town.

The chances of you being able to buy a Tesla semi in the next three years is probably zero. Five years...I have my doubts still.

I agree with you. The good news is I should make lots of money with my stocks.
I ordered my Cybertruck in Nov 2019 RN113016xxx and I am far away from getting one. I have been driving a red Volt since late 2014. It is a 2015 model. I was parked at the marina last weekend looking out at the water and some driver asked me if I was interested in selling my car. WOW
