A the 2024 Shareholders Meeting, Elon stated that "later this year" they would "uncork the full HW4 capability" Makes me wonder if Tesla never allocated a single resource to making the HW3 emulation work on CT because they expected the full HW4 stack to be ready and planned to release it with CT launch. Maybe this is why we still don't have FSD on CT?

Nah, Tesla related accounts gave said 12.5 would be going to Cybertruck, originally in late June. Even if it arrives in July, that's HW3 code before the data center is operational.

I suspect we will be running in HW3 emulation mode for quite a while. Native version by the end of the year if we are lucky. By that time we will all be clamoring for HW5 (AI5). 😆😆😆😆
