Beyond that little correction, same reason some people choose to smoke cigars, drink expensive alcohol, buy horses or go to baseball games I guess. ??‍

I’ve been into models since I was a kid. I always have and always will like cars. I generally get a diecast model of every car that I own and of these the only two that I haven’t owned are the original roadster and the Semi.

Money is a construct and it’s only value is getting me stuff that I want. My only child is already financially secure on her steam and when I and my wife both shed this mortal coil she will be left with a nontrivial estate.

But, I’m not living for her and I have worked every day since I was 16 years old. So, I do whatever I want with the money I’ve earned - just as Adam Smith intended!
