Agreed. The current fairing is far too delicate. I cracked mine off hitting an otherwise non-threatening curb.

$54 for a set? That's not bad. Curious to see what they look like installed. Images on Etsy aren't the greatest.
They sure aren’t. But I’ll let you know. As long as it’s a decently seamless match to the factory rocker panel I’ll be keeping them around and probably ordering a spare set. At least until Tesla’s underbody armor comes out hopefully at the end of the year.

From Wes:

It's low profile, tough, and best of all, coming soon.

That was in February. Like Tesla. Always coming soon.

The issue we saw with the OEM slider design was it does NOT protect the door panel, only the sill, thats why ours extends out 4" from the door to give you real protection.

I don’t doubt for a second that yours offers more protection for serious off-roading. But an intermediate solution was needed for getting rid of these fairings which were getting damaged and broken by everyday highway driving.

We need a rear wheel fairing replacement cap, something that covers this area:
IMG_9236.jpeg

I’d personally like it to fill that area in, blend/be even with the bottom of the rocker panel, and have a hole for pinning the liner.

The fairings aren’t worth having on there. Off-roading destroys them (heck, we’ve seen several members break theirs with just normal highway driving).

See this thread for why we need this product!
Is this what you wanted? I’ve only made a rough version because I’ve been quite busy lately.

Mine came in today. Took a little longer than I thought and unfortunately I’m leaving on a road trip tomorrow. I’m not gonna dive into this until I get back because I do currently have rear fairings on so those are a bit of an ordeal to remove. Looks like a fairly decent product though, I’m not disappointed. I should have pics up by 5/22 unless someone beats me to it.
