I use windex…. Seems to work fine. You will find the windex solution on YouTube too.

I’m familiar with the Windex and Bar Keepers Friend cocktail. Just concerned about the longer term damage from the acid in Bar Keepers Friend and the ammonia in Windex. I’m sure it’s fine but I’m looking at other options. Possibly something with some lasting protection, even if short term.

I looked too…. Nothing yet…. I’ve only had my truck for 4 months though. Thanks in advance for letting us know if you find something better.

I would stay clear of the Sprayway stainless product as it is oil based. Will leave a thin sheen of oil, and with that will come dust and everything else. This product is really for indoor applications like a stainless fridge, or if one keeps truck in garage with stainless fridge as a trophy piece garage cave.

I've been using Glass Plus No Ammonia formula, and it does fine... Maybe not as good on water spots but it cleans fine.

I primarily use the normal spray away spray though. Sometimes go through a basic car wash and then wipe it with spray away.

I've had success with Stainless Steel and More a Si02 stainless product which does not leave an oily film. It evens out the surface. Its a spray on and was developed for the marine industry. Sold by aquaarmorcoatings.

They are all trying to rip us off…. Ammonia free windex. Only need to use it occasionally…. If the price was close I would…maybe I’ll try it… but it’s obviously a rip off.

Has anyone tried this? I know the glass cleaner has been recommended, just curious if the stainless steel cleaner and polish has been used.

I use Stainless Steel and More from aquaarmorcoatings as it is the only stainless steel polish that has Si02 Ceramic in it. I use it after other cleaners as a top coat, it evens the finish beautifully and limits finger prints and other road film.
