I think that the CT’s second best feature other than the SS exterior is the unique steer-by-wire technology. No other pickup sold in America employs it.

170 degrees to the maximum turn is pretty amazing. The Cybertruck is the 3rd production vehicle sold in America to use it. SBW combined with RWS is a breakthrough for pickup trucks.

Several other vehicles had steer by wire for rear wheel steer. Mostly for high performance handling characteristics.
But GM had pickups with rear wheel steer option. It was advertised heavily as being useful for turning radius and trailer backing. But it added cost and cut into payload. People did not buy it as a stand-alone option.

I remember when local Chevy dealers advertised $12k off those trucks. It was a sales disaster.
