Even though it has 275,000 miles on it, my adult son is chomping at the bit awaiting his ‘inheritance’ of my 2007 all metallic black TRD model!
????

Yeah Man, these adult kids (my daughter is 30) have have high hopes of getting their hands on our shit! my truck is like a unicorn it’s a 2013 and only has about 90,000 miles on it none of which have been jumping it off of shit! In addition to the fact that I just love it, it’s no small matter that I could sell it still right now for what I paid for it or possibly more!

My two favorite moments around this:

1. I told her: after much consideration, she was simply going to have to pry the FJ from my cold dead hands.

2. When she came to get it earlier this week, as she was driving away I said, “Bye babe, I love you!” When she responded, “I love you too, Dad;” I said, “No, I was talking to the truck!”

????

I think she laughed harder than I did! It should be noted that my daughter is wonderful - owns her own home at 30, and also has an M3P w/fully owned FSD. Did it all by herself! She’s a chip off the old block!

Sheesh! If I have ice cream on my interior, I want to know about it so I can wipe that shit off! That's just gross if you let it stay there! I did notice when I got a scuff on the white, it wipes right off with a damp microfiber, right back to brilliant white.

As to dust, I've coated the outside of the body, the wheels, and the bed in dust, many, many times on many hundreds of miles of gravel roads, the interior still looks pristine. I credit the design of the cabin climate control and the large HEPA filter. Tesla has some of the best engineered cabin air systems in the business. I rarely need to dust the interior. The bed area I blow out with a cordless leaf blower.
Question about this. My Model S and my wife’s 3 both get a rather odd/bad smell from the A/C. Bad design has a low spot that collects moisture and starts to mold. Many videos on YouTube about it. Curious if any CyberTrucks have experienced this yet, could be too soon, takes a couple of years, could be fixed?

I haven't heard of anyone having bad smells in a Cyertruck (but I'm sure it's possible in humid environments). In our Model 3's we avoided any bad smells by turning the air conditioners off about a minute before we got home. The fan continues to run and it warms up the AC so water doesn't condense after we park it. We've done this with all our cars for the last couple decades to keep the cabin smelling fresh (and are continuing to do it with the Cybertruck to prevent potential future problems).

There was supposed to be a software update to do this, but it would still happen. There is a cleaner that would help for about a year. I’ve never had it happen in any of my other 21 cars that I’ve owned.
Here is a good video that explains the design flaw.

Yeah, I watched that video when it came out, but we've never had a problem in our three Model 3's. An ounce of prevention is worth a pound of cure.

Ok, debating changing the interior trim of my order from tactical grey back to white. Need some thoughts and pictures to stop me!

The Tactical Grey interior is excellent! It looks way better than the pictures. Highly recommended for all!
Yep. Totally agree. Saw it in person at a CT meetup. It’s tight!!

the white is nice, too… but if I were buying today, grey all the way!!

Plus, it matches our seat stitching. ? Kinda think it was the default interior before the white “upgrade”. ?
