MY DELIVERY DAY MONDAY 4-8-2024 WAS ONE OF THE WORST CUSTOMER EXPERIENCE I EVER HAD IN JACKSONVILLE FLORIDA . TO TOP IT OF FAMILY AND FRIENDS WERE WITH ME . WE WAITED ABOUT 2 HOURS BEFORE WE COULD GET ANY REAL ANSWERS OUT OF TESLA EMPLOYEES . WE ENDED UP GOING HOME WITH NO CYBER TRUCK AND WAS TOLD NO ONE HAD ANY IDEA WHEN WE WOULD TAKE DELIVERY . VERY LITTLE TO BRIEF COMMUNICATION HAS BEEN THE NORM SINCE MONDAY. CONVERSATION HAS BEEN CLOSED ON MY TESLA APP. BY TESLA . PCS . POWER CONVERSION SYSTEM . WAS TOLD MY TRUCK WOLD NOT MOVE BECAUSE IT NEEDED A PCS . AND THE PART WOULD BE ON ORDER . NO IDEA WHEN PART WOULD COME IN OR BE INSTALLED AND THEY WOULD LET ME KNOW MORE IN THE NEXT FEW DAYS . Power conversion system is kinda important if you want the computer to run, 'cause you need to computer to tell the vehicle how to run the motors.

Did your app try to tell you that the appointment was canceled? It should have told you if there was something wrong.

Looks like your Power Caps Key went full ON! 😆 Jokes apart, sorry that you had to go home empty handed. I have heard that Tesla car deliveries can be very boring and transactional without much drama. You should have been at least told not to take delivery. Time is precious. Hope you get your truck soon and override this bad memory with a good one, and then don’t forget to turn off Caps keys. Ok JK! 😜

Stuff happens. Many have waited four years or longer, so a few days is like a drop in the bucket. I wouldn't have immediately posted an ALL-CAPS rant about it, but instead just calmly waited to get my Cybertruck, evaluate it for a couple days or a week, and then include the delivery hiccups as a footnote instead. Seems like some have to inflame short term glitches or issues like they're the end of the world or something. But I hope the overall delivery experience and long-term driving experience goes well.

The Jacksonville delivery center seems to be one of the worst when it comes to customer service and communication.

Sorry you couldn't take your truck home, but unfortunately they don't have a way to tell you anything useful. Tesla keeps several degrees of separation between you and useful information. They usually seem (pre-delivery especially) to not even want to tell you what the problem is. So learning that it's a PCS is already a step above what most get.

They ordered the part from the factory. They want to deliver you a truck asap so they can take your money. When it comes in, they will install it, test it, and then call you again. But they can't tell you exactly when, because the amount of time it takes to get parts from the factory has varied greatly.

They also only find out at the last minute because they don't prep the vehicles for delivery until the very last minute.

PCS and high voltage harness are currently major issues. There have been a bunch of people who have driven off the Tesla lot just to have their truck break a few miles or few hundred miles away from home.
Incontinent but you should consider yourself lucky you left without a truck instead of the truck leaving you on the side of the road.

I took a month from my first scheduled delivery date until I actually got delivery. I was told it failed inspection but not why even those I asked. Next, I was told they were waiting on a couple of parts delivery when I went to the local service center.

At delivery, I was told it didn’t fail inspection but was awaiting a firmware activation code. As you can see, internal Tesla communication are poor and I got at least a couple of reasons for the delay. Fortunately, I‘ve had it for a few days and it is great to drive no problems so far.

The GM at Jacksonville is Aaron Elington. See if he can get it straighten out.
I was there last week, . He told me that they have no control over the trucks. Austin handles everything.
I was shocked he said that.
But it's worth a try.
