So here's the run down; I need the money and submitted a request through Tesla to buy it back with a reasoning of "unsatisfied with Cybertruck quality". That request got denied and from what I am interpreting, I can't even sell it back for the price I purchased it for. (My intent is not to profit, but break even). Any advice on how I can proceed because I do need the money as much as I love the truck but seem to be stuck both ways..

If they denied the buyback, you are free and clear to sell it privately. Someone will buy it for msrp for sure.

But you had to talk to the right people before doing that. Your local service center wouldn't know anything about it.

Timing may be tough. They are selling now for $120-$150k unless you have a cyberbeast then you may be able to get $140-$160k
Make sure you get something in writing from Tesla saying they are refusing to buy it so you can sell it without worrying about a suit down the road.

"We reviewed your specific request and respectfully disagree that your reasoning for needing to sell your Cybertruck warrants an unforeseen circumstance that would trigger Tesla’s purchase of your Cybertruck. To be clear, Tesla will not purchase your Cybertruck from you and because there was no unforeseen circumstance, you are still bound by the one-year prohibition to selling your Cybertruck privately as detailed in your Motor Vehicle Order Agreement."

It's an email from a manager at a service center, sub 1000 vin, and 1000 miles

They actually don't have the power to do that. The order agreement does not say they can turn it down and still prevent you from reselling. Email arbitration. The contact info is in your order agreement.

I still am hesitant to risk it because technically I did not receive "written consent" from them.

Risk what? Arbitration will get you a resolution. You will either get tesla to buy it back per the order agreement, or be allowed to sell it. Those are their choices. They cannot say no to both. Arbitration will settle it

They are saying no to both because the reasoning is not an unforeseen circumstance as per the agreement. OP needs to say an unforeseen circumstance came up and he needs the money and not that the build quality is why he wants to get rid of the truck. That’s more of a lemon law issue.

Should try to move it before it goes much over 1,000 miles. Prices for the trucks over 1,500 on the used market are way lower and prices are dropping daily.
Lowest truck listed this morning was 137 now there are a couple in the 120s

This is interesting as Tesla is not fully responsible for repurchasing the vehicle, though they state you can resell the car with written consent from them. According to the agreement they have final say if you can resell the vehicle. "Only after receiving written consent from Tesla". Sorry OP. You are out of luck.

Tesla MVPA said:
Notwithstanding the foregoing, if you must sell the Vehicle within the first year following its delivery date for any unforeseen reason, and Tesla agrees that your reason warrants an exception to its no reseller policy, you agree to notify Tesla in writing and give Tesla reasonable time to purchase the Vehicle from you at its sole discretion and at the purchase price listed on your Final Price Sheet less $0.25/mile ....

... If Tesla declines to purchase your Vehicle, you may then resell your Vehicle to a third party only after receiving written consent from Tesla.

I think that the big problem here is that you lied to Tesla. You made up a rationalization with them and you told us the truth. You need the money you spent on the truck. Maybe if you had told them why you need the money and asked to be released from the agreement they might have responded differently. Now you will never know.
