So said my wife a few minutes ago, as we finished our hot supper.

Here in the mid-Atlantic we had an ice storm roll in overnight. Last night at dusk, a couple hours before the storm was supposed to arrive, I backed the Cybertruck up near the house, dropped the tailgate, plugged the 50' generator cable going to the well into the 240v outlet, plugged the 10 AWG extension cord into the 120v outlet, threw the tarp over the open tailgate, and called it good.

This morning, right on cue, the utility power went out.

My wife hadn't been particularly enthusiastic when I picked up the Cybertruck last summer. Today she became a fan.

I am always amazed when I see how little power people use. We are easily over 50 kWh on a low power usage day.

Similar consumption here. I used just under 5 kWh during the 6-hour outage.

My truck is powering my house as I type this. Utility company had a planned 8 hour outage which I was prepared for. Can't say enough good things about this feature!

If the Power Backup Gateway wasn’t included, I would recommend folks to go down this path for backing up there home. If you have elderly parents have them install an inlet box too so you can power them up too.

Only 1 Tesla the CT has V2H V2G design and that V2H V2G design is better than all other EV manufactures V2H V2G design.

Juniper EV V2H V2G is a must. All EV manufactures must by law be a V2H V2G EV design. A united nations mandate or national laws for any EV sold in any nation must comply to a V2H V2G EV design and all power companies must pay for Net Metering.

Only CT has V2H V2G design but IMO just pulling the Juniper battery disconnect and plugging in a smart dongle will provide Juniper battery access, and grants you the right to use those mobile powerwalls at your home, at your office, at your work sight.
