I’m starting to get a little frustrated with the problems I’m having with the Cybertruck. Yes, I know this comes along with being one of the first ones off the production ramp but the service response time is slowing down (probably because of the pedal issue taking precedent)

It started with an imperfection on my windshield that caused there to be a long line on my line of sight. They replaced my windshield but I think something happened to the top gear selector panel. It dropped down and won’t stay back up.

Next, my tailgate won’t open. This happened once before but I was able to keep trying and eventually it opened. This time, it’s not working.

Also, when I turn left or right, there are loud creaks coming from the bottom of the center console. I put foam underneath and this worked for a few days. Now it’s even louder.

I’m waiting to hear a response from the service center for a week now.

Oh and I got the rivet installed in my pedal at Cybertruck Takeover an it does not look like it’s installed in the proper place. The guy said they are all like this but later at home I saw that mine was the only one on right on the edge. I’ve added this to my service ticket as well.

I'm not in front of my truck right now to double check, but that rivet looks like it's doing the opposite of what it's supposed to be doing. The pedal cover is lifted above where it should be, and the rivet is preventing it from going down into the proper place.

The issues that keep piling up do concern me even though outside the pedal issue they haven't happened to us.

I really worry about things failing in 12-18 months right when my 4/50k warranty expires due to high miles. Usually these items have fixes that are service bulletin related, but sometimes it is up to the first adopter to find out. Very rarely does Tesla retro a out of pocket cost for something fixed later. It does happen however.

There's a thread about the hanging console, I believe that it posts the solution.

Not sure about the creaks

Tailgate. What about opening from the other locations not using the button on the back of the truck? Is it a tailgate issue or a button issue?

You probably got the rivet installed really early, when the Service Center didn't have their installation kit yet.

Sometimes being first isn't the best, just try not to be impatient. There's a lot of Cybertrucks in CA now. As well as other cars.

Was your truck one of the early ones that needed a harness replacement? If so,has it been replaced?

I’ll try to find that thread. Thanks!

I’m sorry you are having some troubles. I am too - tonneau cover and passenger door. Do I think they are fixable? Absolutely. Are they annoying? 100%. Is it disappointing with the time and money invested? Mmmhmmmm

Whoever installed that rivet should not be working as a mechanic. The rivet is in the correct place but your cover has already begun to slide up the pedal. According to the service bulletin, your pedal should have been replaced, but if they had just pushed the cover back down before riveting, it would be OK. Here's the pertinent part of the bulletin, your cover is way over 5mm from the bottom of the pedal. If I were you, I'd try to slide the cover off then stick some grip tape on the plastic pedal until it can be replaced.

Looks to me that many are upset and/disappointed. I feel your pain watching this unfold from my 'armchair' position, living vicariously the CYBERLIFE. All this should fade with time......memory/recall can do that.
I particularly get how the build team and service teams must be feeling....let alone what Elon ( 'The Snake Oil Peddler' ) is going thru with regards to this 'pedal' matter. One conciliation for those waiting for delivery, especially RHD Countries that should get deliveries in years to come, is the belief that the CT production glitches/issues will be smoothed or smothered. These are little fires that can be put out early!
Hope you boys and girls enjoy your CYBERTRUCK every day!
