Tonneau Cover (Rework)

You shouldn't be able to see the water management slat holes. If you have a gap between the roof and tonneau then there is a service procedure to fix it. I think there were a group of VINs that came with one less slat.
Yep, they fixed mine, but it had NO effect on water intrusion. I had to fix that myself. Now 90% better through a touch free pressure wash, near 100% resolution for rain and hose water.

Was your solution that 1/4ā€ weatherstripping that others have used? Did you go all the way to the end on both sides or just up to the rubber gaskets?

Yes, new weatherstrip all the way to the end, and around the sides of the aerocover, then used RTV silicone on remaining small gaps. I posted specific Amazon parts on here on another thread earlier today,

They don’t have a fix for the water ingress, just the visible gap. The water isn’t coming in from that gap.

I realize its not only coming in from that gap.But i suspect some is and thus the reason to have it fixed .

I had mine fixed and it looks better now, but had to fix the water issue myself.

I just got mine back from a different SC. Hopefully better results than the 1st 2 times I took it in at the 1st one. Too cold to test but we will be getting some rain in the next week so I will be able to see at that time.

So mine still leaks badly even after the replacement. Guess I’m going to have to buy some weatherstripping.

Just took delivery of mine this last week (VIN 52xxx). It sounds like the rivet holes should not be visible?

ill have to take a closer look but i was able to see them when i looked at it during delivery.
