Truck stops will be the best fit for charging network for CT’s pulling trailers. Why not, where will Tesla semi’s charge? 😉

Ok. I’ve had this conversation with friends and family for months and months and now it’s turned into years. 🤣 if this has been already talked about my apologies.

I truly believe that the best places to charge a Ct with trailer would be truck stops. Where else will a tesla semi Charge? Right? Seems the best plan in my honest opinion. This will allow adequate space for fueling and parking and to offer families the ability to take showers, restock supplies, and do vehicle and trailer pre check. I certainly cannot think of any other place that would serve Cybertruck best.

Thoughts?

The Semi "megacharger" port is significantly different:

I bet someone cobbles together a converter cable, tho. Charge your CT in 30 seconds!

That’s cool.
It would be super cool to have whatever the CT will need accessible at a Tesla truck stop😍

throw in a restaurant and a laundry facility too. 😉

Let me fix that for you:
"Destroy your CT battery in 30 seconds!"

There, I think that is more correct. ;)

I think if there was ever to be a full electric truck stop to be built by Tesla, Texas would be the first state. Honestly, it would be pretty damn amazing.

As ICE vehicles die, I would imagine the pumps for them as well will start to disappear. I would believe that over time gas stations will replace some their pumps with charging stations thus pull throughs would be available. It is only a matter of time IMO.

...... From what we saw on the prototypes so far.

I truly hope its the same standard as the S 3 X Y however. For convenience sake. Or, some sort of adapter.

I COULD see them achieving quicker charging along with some new port though.

I refer the faithful to a YouTube channel called "Bonehead Truckers".
Just about every episode features idiot truck drivers blocking the fuel islands while they get food, go to the restrooms or take showers.
I was either a Commercial Driver or in the military most of my adult life.
The drooling morons and Third World idiots that trucking companies (that can't keep drivers because they treat them so bad) are putting in Commercial Vehicles are the worse I've ever seen since I started driving trucks in 1977.
The big reason for this is that the gooberment finally fixed the trucking industry until it is broken. First it was electronic logbooks and now they are going to put speed limiters on ALL commercial vehicles large and small. Only a practicing masochist would want to drive a long haul truck now.
Imagine getting behind two trucks governed to 68 MPH side by side on the Interstate. The road rage and people in cars getting stupid will increase ten fold.
No.....keep electric Commercial Vehicles as far away from Loves and Petro as possible.
