Thing is, some people think Tesla was a bargain even at the >$1200 price from a little while ago.

Others think Tesla won't be a bargain till it drops below $100 or so.

Interestingly, I don't find too many people in the middle that have much of a hard opinion on the matter.

To me, what really matters in your question is the time horizon you are looking at. If you are wanting to make a quick buck and get out, I'd say the current price might not yet be the bottom. Especially since Elon seems to have some more stock he needs to sell. On the other hand, if you are looking for a long-term hold (say till 2030 or longer), then $1200 vs $900 probably isn't going to be very noticeable by the end of that time frame (on the bull or bear perspective).
