Can you please provide pictures/video of how the edges look? I know the DIY kit doesn't wrap around the corners. I am wonder if the contrasting colors of the SS and the wrap are easy to see.

Finally done. 15 hours start to finish. 🙌🏼🔥
I was flying the last 4 panels on the passenger. Really found some good technique I could settle into finally. 😁

Looks amazing! So it seems it wraps around some of the panel edges but not all?

you should be super proud!

Looking great! Have you learned anything new having slept on it and started again?
That’s a great question. It certainly keeps one’s mind on it during sleep when you’re trying to complete a project like this!

Aside from sticking to the DIY instructions; I think a stick with it and see it through attitude kept me above any frustrations. Most of which were in day 1 anyway, so I’m grateful for that. Day 3 today, I was thinking how much dinero I could make wrapping for a living. 😂

It honestly became therapeutic at some levels. And the rear tailgate and top rails, TSportline doesn’t have any videos online that I could find. I was flying in the blind, but referring back to their instructions and applying it to those areas, it all worked out perfectly.

It looks great. I guess next step is panting the brake calipers with red color :)
It is a definite temptation. However, I have a Plaid S and Ludicrous X, both in white and w Red Calipers. That being said, I actually really want to see the aero covers they finally produce after the recall. Even the raw calipers and look of these wheels without appears mostly acceptable to my eye at this point.

My thought at the moment is to maybe get it leveled via the small control arm that controls the ride height. I need to see if they stuck to the old system for that or if anyone’s offering an after market product for it already, but it’s not a priority at this point either.

This is my 10th Tesla and I’ve never been so impressed w build. They did an amazing job. Hard to believe I own this thing.

It definitely wraps around all the panels where needed. There are small gaps in most corners because it’s not necessary to stretch the wrap that much to complete the lines on the interior. You could try to do that, but IMO it would difficult.
There were a few panels where I’d get the coverage around the edge, but my initial placement wasn’t perfect, so one side would get a little more than the other. Definitely difficult to go back to fix that issue. Even more reason to watch the DIY videos for every section if you’re going to do it.

I’m definitely going to look into some ride height after market. I took a look and Tesla is definitely using the same system for ride height. CT looks so good in high!
