I think the rear window will roll down 10" or so and it will have a load bearing sill to rest long items on. This will be the same elevation as the tailgate.
you can see that in one of the pictures.....I saw a stop that went up about 12" and then saw 3 headrests in the opening.....my be a pass-thru, but I want the 6.5 bed....6' os ok as long as there is a fold down pass-thru

I'm suspecting that the rear motors are the carbon wrapped kind used in the plaid, which are also smaller and lighter than the M3 etc, because of this they can move the rear motors in front of the rear wheel drivshafts, and still fit the vault cover in front. Better for weight distribution too.

That means the larger rear storage cover space can now be big enough to fit a full-size spare on top of the rear gearbox and drivetrain assembly. The spare itself might be optional if you just want to use the space instead, but at least we have somewhere to put a spare.

I'm also wondering if in the end all versions are quad motors just with different pack sizes, or if the dual motor might just be rear wheel drive with two in the back. At some point, if you can optimise your cost by making your own motors and controllers like Tesla does, it just doesn't make sense to have all these different versions.
maybe they will have a quad motor line and a dual motor line

I think optics are easier to manage on a curved screen.
This might be strength & optics.

The three front facing cameras on all other Tesla models are looking through curved windshields. The distort of image going through a curved glass vs flat. Especially with wide angle camera, images and depth accuracy at the edge of the field of view (140- 160 degrees).

This can and is all corrected in software.

The cyber truck is developing into a truly ugly pickup, I just don’t get it the bed is tiny, how do you pull a quad into it, the mirrors look like crap and the wiper is hideous. If this is the final prototype I just don’t know if I can make this purchase, this which would be my first EV vehicles I am not going to pay that kind of money so everyone can laugh at it driving down the road. I reserved two cybertrucks based on the original prototype. Spending this kind of money I can buy the high performance Ford raptor and have a lot more certainty on what I am truly getting. I’m not buying a Tesla because I want to save the planet it’s just something new to experience but at this point the hummer looks better. If I was tesla I would go back to the original design because that is what captured the public and orders In the first place. truly disappointed

We know that this CT seen in a drone video being tested is not the final prototype. For one thing, Elon says the wiper is not the final wiper. Also, there are many features that were missing but will be needed. For instance the controls to open and close the tonneau. For all we saw, there might not have even been a tonneau on that truck. And it didn’t have (or at least was not using) 4 wheel steering.

So just be patient. Maybe go on an internet silence retreat till the annual meeting when we are supposed to hear from Elon about the actual final specs. Till then, it’s all speculation and fantasy.

In the past few days, we got a Cybertruck sighting, a Tesla Semi sighting, more details on the Cybertruck. What else do you want?

“Wow, that truck sure has beautiful wipers!” said no one ever.
